Spring S.A.F.E.T.Y. Extravaganza Confirmation

Saturday    April 10, 2010

Dear Parents,

This letter is confirmation for the SAFETY Extravaganza.  The entire focus of this event is SAFETY.  Your student will be under strict supervision at all times.  In most cases there is a one-on-one instructor-student ratio.

Special Notes:

  • One parent must accompany their student on this trip.  No exceptions please.
  • Parents must remain with their student at all times.
  • There will be no refunds should you miss the trip.   Make every effort to attend.
  • All students must wear the event T-shirt, hat and name badge at all times. (Students may change to their event T-shirt in the school restroom.)
  • We respectfully request that (parents) do not smoke, bring any work (computers, etc) with you and turn cell phones off.

·        Participants that are “no shows” at Greystone will automatically be eliminated from the screening process for youth hunting opportunities.

  • Every year some youth hunting opportunities come along.  If you would like to have your name placed in the drawing for a hunt, then you need to realize that the instructors, group leaders, and teachers will evaluate you while participating at Greystone Castle.

Please arrive at Argyle High School at 6:00 AM.   As soon as you have your shirt and badge on, load the charter buses.  (Hats will be given out at Greystone).

The buses will depart Argyle High School promptly at 6:30 AM.  Estimated time of return from the event will be 6:30 PM.  Due to the limited parking, everyone must ride the charter bus, no exceptions please.

Upon arrival at Greystone Castle, donuts and juice will be available.  Additionally, everyone will be served a Bar-B-Q lunch.  Water will also be provided at all events throughout the day.
