I was born and raised in Sherman. I graduated from Sherman High School and Austin College, where I competed in many athletic events. Tennis was my favorite! After graduation I worked for two years in Tyler, Texas, for Camp Fire Girls. I then moved to Dallas where I worked for the Parks and Recreation for 10 years.
I started working for Sherman ISD in 1985 and I worked there until May of 2008. I taught 1st grade, 2nd grade and PE during that time.
I have one daughter, Leigh Ann, who works for the Herald Democrat/Shopper. I have two English Bulldogs, Junior and Yoshei. I am a member at First United Methoidist Church where I have attented since my baptism.
My hobbies include horseback riding, tennis, golf, and reading. I am delighted to be here at St. Mary's School!
