Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Lower Elementary Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive learning environment rooted in Catholic values and deliver engaging instruction to our diverse student body.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and embody the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Provide standards-based instruction across all subjects, including religion.
- Implement differentiated teaching methods to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Utilize various instructional strategies, resources, and technology to enhance student engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to infuse Catholic values into the curriculum.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment conducive to academic and spiritual growth.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
- Participate in professional development activities and contribute to instructional improvement efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- Valid elementary teaching certification in the state of Texas.
- Previous experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably in a Catholic school setting.
- Strong understanding of elementary content, pedagogy, and instructional strategies.
- Ability to effectively differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of St. Mary’s Catholic School.
