First Grade

I was born in Fremont, Ohio on December 22, 1969 and moved to Texas shortly after I was born. Therefore, I am not considered a YANKEE!!

I have lived in Sherman since I was in kindergarten, attending Fairview Elementary, Dillingham, and Sherman High School. My mom was the secretary here at St. Mary's school for over 20 years, so I grew up knowing St. Mary's School as a very special place. I was fortunate to have the Sisters of St. Mary's as a part of my family. After graduation from high school, I attended the only university in Texas, the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, I taught in Austin, Texas for 1 year and Katy, Texas for 2 years. I then moved to Dallas and taught at Christ the King School in Dallas for 3 years. I then made my way back to Sherman, where I have taught 4th and 1st grades at St. Mary's.

I have 2 daughters, Abby and Emily who are both students here at St. Mary's School.
