2024-25 TriCore Math Competition Winners
SMS students in grades 6-8th competed in the Tri-Core Problem Solving Competition. Students competed in a series of three tests throughout the year. Their combined scores from those tests determine their scores for the competition. Students competed against 18 other schools in the Diocese of Dallas for cash prizes and patches of achievement, and they earned LOTS of hardware!

Virtues in Practice Monthly Awards
A virtue is a good habit. The word virtue comes from the Latin “virtus,” which means “strength.” Christ gives us the graces to enable us to overcome our weaknesses and develop strength, or virtue. People who are virtuous enjoy the freedom of being their best selves and growing closer to God.
