School Advisory Council

The volunteer School Advisory Council meets monthly, advising the principal on many challenges facing our small, Catholic school.  The council does more than talk at a meeting – they problem solve, research other school practices, discuss financial matters, plan for the future and oversee committees just to name a few.  As the “Eyes and Ears” of the school, the council members share any questions, concerns or compliments from our school families.

The SMS Advisory Council and their families volunteer quarterly to pack food items together at the Children’s Express Food Kitchen in Downtown Sherman.
